AI Innovators is designed to bridge the gap between high school learning and real-world innovation. Each week builds practical knowledge and experience in designing, training, and deploying intelligent systems-while also encouraging students to reflect on the ethical, social, and human-centred side of technology.

In this program, students will:

  • Work with advanced AI tools and platforms, including introductory use of coding languages.
  • Explore deep learning concepts, neural networks, and how machines can make complex predictions or decisions.
  • Design intelligent solutions to real-world challenges in areas like climate, health, education, and accessibility.
  • Build working prototypes or mini-projects.
  • Investigate ethical issues, such as data bias, surveillance, and algorithmic accountability.
  • Practice version control, documentation, and debugging, introducing students to real-world development workflows.
  • Present and pitch their ideas, preparing them for future pathways in university, tech careers, or entrepreneurial ventures.

Students will be encouraged to choose a problem they care about and use AI to design a meaningful, functional solution. Projects may include intelligent chatbots, image recognition tools, smart data dashboards, or concept apps.

How Our AI Innovators Program Works

Each weekly session runs for 1 hour and follows a project-based structure. Lessons begin with a real-world problem, AI concept, or case study, followed by a guided exploration of tools and methods that help students build their own solutions.

The course includes:

  • Hands-on experience with real coding environments (block-based or Python, depending on ability)
  • Group and individual project work
  • Mini-challenges to deepen technical understanding
  • Industry case studies to link learning to real careers
  • A final capstone project presented in a mini showcase

    No prior coding experience is required at iCode School. These classes are beginner-friendly and designed to introduce coding concepts from scratch. Children with no prior experience can start learning and gradually build their skills, while making friends and enjoying their time in the studios with like minded thinkers.

  • Will my child be spending too much time in front of a screen?

    While our games development classes involve using computers, they also encourage creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Many classes include hands-on activities, group discussions, and offline exercises to balance screen time. Our kids lean into the technology rather than letting it wash over them in unconscious engagement.
